B Taylor and Sons Transport has bought a nine-acre site adjacent to its existing headquarters, in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire, following funding from Barclays.
The site will be upgraded and used for both third party warehousing and vehicle parking.
The business was established in 1974 and together with Taylors Transport International, employs over 200 staff.
MD Alan Taylor says: “When the opportunity arose to purchase the site, it provided the scale we were looking for in an area that worked with our other 11 sites in Nottinghamshire.”
Lynn Morris, Relationship Director at Barclays in Nottinghamshire, says: “Alan and his team continue to grow their business and I am delighted we have been able to support them in the next phase of the development.”
