Eddie Stobart Logistics changes name to Logistics Development Group

Eddie Stobart Logistics plc, the Warrington-based logistics company, has changed its name to Logistics Development Group plc.

The change does not affect the well-known trading subsidiary Eddie Stobart Ltd (pictured), which continues unaffected.

Logistics Development Group plc is an indirect 49% shareholder of Greenwhitestar Acquisitions Limited, the indirect holding company of the trading businesses of Eddie Stobart, iForce, Speedy Freight, Logistic People and The Pallet Network.

Following the conversion of the company to an investing company under the AIM rules and as outlined in its recent admission document, with effect from 0800 today (February 10), trading on AIM starts under the company’s new name.

To reflect the company’s new name, the website address changed to www.ldgplc.com also from 0800 this morning.
