Miniclipper Logistics has hired a new finance director Laure Filippi (pictured), who will join sales director Jayne Masters as the second women on the board, in what is a traditionally male dominated industry.
Key points:
- Laure Filippi joins Miniclipper Logistics as the second female director on the board
- Previously held senior finance roles at Orano Group and CAT
- Miniclipper has announced £5.5million investment in its transport and warehouse divisions
Laure brings with her a wealth of experience having previously worked for large multi-nationals such as Orano Group and CAT, once a part of Renault Group. Her most recent role was with Orano Group, a company in the nuclear fuel cycle industry, where she was UK Chief Financial Officer overseeing the administrative, financial and risk management operations.
Serving as FD for Miniclipper, Laure will oversee a predominately female team of six including a financial controller, supervising the day-to-day finances and the strategic vision for the future of Miniclipper.
“I’m excited to be working with Jayne as a fellow female director, it’s a first for me with two women on the board and I am already enjoying getting stuck in,” Laure continued.
Since starting with Miniclipper Logistics Laure has received a warm welcome from the team, and despite joining in a third lockdown the transition has been smooth.
