“It is with immense sadness that we inform the bus and coach community of the untimely death of our dear colleague, Jason Bedford,” reports EvoBus UK. He was 47.

“Not only have we lost a dear colleague but also a kind and thoughtful man.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his young family, his parents and friends.”

Jason passed away peacefully after a very short illness on 4th November 2021.  He leaves behind his wife, Leonie and their two young children Leah and Jamie.

Liked and appreciated by all his colleagues, Jason was a “glass half full” person with an impish sense of humour that helped us through some difficult times.

Dependable and pragmatic, he always focussed on how to make our customers’ product and service experience the best.

Since joining the aftersales department at EvoBus in 2007 to his most recent post as Senior Manager Service & Training, leading a team of 10 people, his enthusiasm and commitment to constant improvements across his range of responsibilities was contagious – he had a positive effect on all those he worked with.

The family have asked that any donations in his memory be sent to: https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/in-memory-of-jason-bedford
