Hamish Phillips swaps Arrival for No. 10 EV role

Arrival Head of Sales Hamish Phillips leaves Arrival – the global company creating electric vans and buses – leaves on Friday (1 October) to join the Delivery Unit of 10 Downing Street on Monday (4 October) as its EV lead.

Says Hamish: “I’m really proud of the progress we’ve made as a business since I joined. I’m also sad that I’m not going to see the products through to – and beyond – launch, but am looking forward to seeing Arrival vans and buses on the road from 2022.

“I’m leaving because something really compelling has arisen.

“Joining the Delivery Unit is a unique opportunity to help us get battle-ready for the 2030 ICE phase out (and much more besides).”

Arrivals sales team has recently been strengthened with the arrival of David Watts as van sales manager. Bus remains in the charge of VP Commercial Vehicles Glenn Saint, alongside Technical Sales Manager Ranald Harding .
