EVBox Group calls on leaders at COP26 to recognise EV charging infrastructure as critical to meeting Paris Agreement targets

EVBox Group, a provider of flexible and scalable charging solutions for electric vehicles, is calling for the accelerated adoption of electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

As a representative of the EV charging industry, EVBox Group will speak at COP26 in Glasgow on the necessity of establishing quality charging infrastructure across the globe in order to meet the goals set out in the Paris Agreement.

EVBox Group will stress the importance of embracing electric mobility and establishing reliable EV charging infrastructure in a bid to reduce carbon emissions.

As a member of the TDA (Transport Decarbonisation Alliance), EVBox will join a panel discussion addressing the need for businesses, NGOs, and governments to adopt carbon-neutral transportation.

EVBox Group will use this opportunity to speak on behalf of the EV charging industry, asking politicians, policymakers, and businesses to take action against the impending climate crisis. In order to help reach the goals set out at COP26, the global adoption of electric mobility must be prioritised.

EVBox will also be joined on stage by Isbrand Ho (Managing Director of BYD Europe B.V), Andreas Foller (Head of Sustainability at Scania), and Sharon Dijksma (Mayor of Utrecht, the Netherlands), among other distinguished international guests.

EVBox Group recently joined TDA’s “Charge to Move and Accelerate” initiative, and invites all cities, regions, states, and countries, as well as OEMs and Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment companies to join. More information on the initiative is here.
