Catapult centres are a network of world-leading centres designed to transform the UK’s capability for innovation in specific areas and help drive future economic growth.
Innovate UK
The UK government’s innovation agency, which is part of UK Research and Innovation. Since 2007, it has invested £2.5bn to help businesses to innovate, with match funding from industry taking the total value of projects to £4.3bn.
Green Bus Funds
Government-funded schemes covering England, Scotland and Wales. Since 2009, grants of £106m have part-funded 1,715 ‘green buses’ in the three nations.
Green Economy Fund
The Green Economy Fund is a way of SP Energy Networks investing to support the Scottish and the UK Government’s energy ambitions, including electric vehicles.
