UK coach operators to get RHA support and experience

RHA Coaches is holding a webinar on Thursday 18 February, starting at 11am, when RHA CEO Richard Burnett is being interviewed by Mark Williams, Editor of Bus and Coach Buyer magazine.

Questions will include what are the synergies between the haulage and coach sectors? What are the major issues RHA Coaches can influence and the membership ambitions for RHA Coaches?

As a key representative organisation for road transport operators, RHA is committed to driving business on our roads and has a proven track record for delivering policy support to drive change.

Our experience of, and reputation for, working with government to lead change puts us in a unique position to support UK coach operators – another part of the commercial vehicle sector that has been hit hard by Covid-19.

Cancellations, social distancing and reduced demand from events and tourism has seen a massive decrease in operational mileage figures.

Commenting, the RHA’s Ops Manager for Coaches, Andy Warrender said: “With up to 90% of the UK fleet parked up over the past year, we know the sector requires urgent support, operational guidance and tailored solutions to support business recovery.

“RHA is driven by its members so it’s particularly pleasing to have been approached by a number of coach operators to ask what we can do for them. They’ve seen what the RHA is doing for the movers of freight and are confident that we can help their sector – the sector that moves people.”
