TUI driving megabus experiences business as exclusive tours and activities partner

Megabus is the first national coach operator to partner with TUI for experiences, and the deal continues the growth of TUI’s tours and activities division, which has now finalised more than 25 partnerships in 2021.

TUI Group, the world’s leading tourism group, has reached an agreement to become the exclusive tours and activities partner for megabus, the UK’s leading great value intercity coach operator and part of the Stagecoach Group.

Through the partnership, megabus customers can now access a diverse range of hundreds of high-quality UK experiences, including famous London landmarks and variety of excursions, activities and attraction tickets across the UK. Experiences include visiting Edinburgh’s haunted vaults, boarding a river cruise in Oxford, surfing in Newquay, a Doctor Who excursion in Cardiff, or a football tour in Manchester – visiting the stadium of Manchester United or Manchester City.

As well as offering great value, convenient and comfortable coach travel, through the partnership with TUI we can now also provide our customers the opportunity to quickly and easily book a range of great things to do in the UK,” said Mark Venables, megabus Managing Director. “Furthermore, we’re pleased to offer a 5% discount on all experiences for bookings made by August 9 2021.” 

megabus will leverage the expanded UK domestic experiences program recently announced by TUI. The curated portfolio features hundreds of UK excursions, activities and attraction tickets in city centres, and rural and countryside areas, available year-round, to UK customers. Currently trending* UK experiences include Warner Bros’ Harry Potter Studios, The London Eye, Edinburgh Castle, Belfast’s Titanic experience and Chessington World of Adventures.

Customers can access experiences through their megabus ticket confirmation email or via custom made ‘City Guides’, which recommend activities for specific locations and are available on the megabus website.
