Walsall-based TNS Travel has taken delivery of a late-model used Scania Touring HD.
Based on the popular K 410 EB chassis with independent front suspension, the coach is built to full PSVAR (Public Service Vehicle Accessibility Regulations) specification, with wheelchair lifter and destination equipment.
The vehicle is also equipped with 57 full leather seats with three-point seatbelts, central sunken toilet, a hot drinks dispenser, DVD player with two monitors, climate control, reverse camera and Alcoa Dura-Bright alloy wheels.
Shabir Yaqub, director of TNS Travel Limited comments, “This is our first experience of the Scania product and I have to say the buying process has been first class.
“The vehicle has exceeded our expectations, and although it was a used vehicle the way it was presented to us was just as if it was a brand new coach.
“Based on this we are talking to Lee Wale, Scania’s UK Bus and Coach Retail Sales Manager, about another vehicle for delivery in the very near future.”
