Alexander Dennis Limited (ADL), has delivered 10 new PSVAR-compliant 12.8m Plaxton Leopard coaches to Dawsongroup bus and coach, with nine leased to The Grammar School at Leeds for use on their school services. The tenth will join Dawsongroup’s hire fleet.
The new order follows an earlier delivery to Dawsongroup and The Grammar School at Leeds (pictured). The new vehicles are built to an updated specification that is PSVAR compliant with a side-mounted wheelchair lift and LED destination equipment.
Dawsongroup bus and coach is the UK’s leading rental, hire and leasing company, offering purchase, supply and finance for buses, coaches, minibuses and accessible vehicles to every sector of the UK road passenger transport industry. The company is one of ADL’s longest-standing customers, having first placed an order in the 1990s.
The Grammar School at Leeds is Yorkshire’s leading independent day school for young people aged between 3 and 18 years.
Built on the reliable Volvo B8R chassis, the 10-strong fleet are all PSVAR compliant with side-mounted wheelchair lift and LED destination equipment.
